Becky practices in the areas of wills and estate planning, real estate, and corporate and commercial law. Originally from Vancouver Island, Becky holds a Bachelor of Music from McGill University and a J.D. from the University of New Brunswick. She returned to British Columbia to complete her articles and was called to the bar in 2022. Becky began her career in litigation, an experience that now informs her thoughtful approach to identifying and mitigating risk in her solicitor practice.

During law school, Becky interned with a Vancouver non-profit law firm focused on human rights advocacy. She also traveled to Rwanda to study post-genocide reconciliation and justice, meeting with survivors, government agencies, and organizations including the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross. After graduation, Becky won the Canadian Bar Association Intellectual Property Section Student Essay Contest. She continues to follow developments in IP law and can provide general advice on copyright and trademarks.

Prior to law, Becky had a career in music as a jazz saxophonist, piano teacher, and composer. She draws on this experience to work collaboratively with clients, find creative but practical solutions, and help people navigate important legal decisions.

Outside the office, Becky volunteers with the Alpine Club of Canada Vancouver Island Section and enjoys mountaineering, rock and ice climbing, road cycling, and collecting vinyl records.
